Central Turf

Hi.  I am Tony McAlevey.  I am the green-keeper at the Fitzroy Bowling Club and the New Plymouth Croquet Club. In early 2019 I was looking for a solution to the compaction and poor root zone problem I had on the number 1 green at the bowling club and the poor water infiltration on the croquet lawns.

After much searching I found the AIR2G2 and set about trying to get one to treat my greens.  Unfortunately the only one in the country was in Auckland, and getting it to come to Taranaki was going to be difficult. The answer was to purchase one and do the job myself. So came to birth Central Turf Limited!

As a green-keeper, I am in a position to understand the problems facing turf managers of both cotula and grass venues.  We have achieved excellent results on both surfaces.

It is our mission to make the AIR2G2 available to all turf managers from the Waikato south at a reasonable cost and with the very least disruption as possible.  Taranaki is not as isolated as some people may think, and I love to travel!
